Clae was 2 years, 2 months and 2 days old when he died. The numbers 2.2.2 have become very significant to us and this image. The central 2 has adopted the colour from his birthmark, and is nestled between the other twos, which are the same colour as his beautiful blue eyes. Miami Ink . . .
Paul and I went to Miami for a four day conference on Family Centered Care on behalf of the Emergency Departments Family Advisory group that we are volunteers on. IT was so we could learn more on how to establish a well run department and pass on valuable information to the ED and rest of the hospital that they may find useful.

While we were there Paul and I got on TLC's Miami Ink and Paul got Kat von D to do a memorial portrait of Clae. The episode date will be posted when we know for sure when it will air, probably in the Fall of 2006. Keep your eye open for us and Clae's story.
